Synopsis for "The Marvel Family Smashes the Legend of Atlantis"

An archeologist digging in the heart of Australia finds an astounding stone tablet, but is attacked by "wild bushmen". The kids hear his SOS over radio, transform and speed to his rescue. After scaring off the natives, he shows them the tablet he discovered: one with the three of them carved into it, despite being around 25,000 years old. The Marvels decide to investigate, zipping to the Rock of Eternity and then returning 25,000 years in the past. They fail to find Atlantis in the Atlantic Ocean, but find a populated island none of them recognize in the Pacific. "By means of strong mental telepathy waves, along with words", the Marvels are able to make themselves understood by one of the locals. He explains their kingdom is actually named Tallantis, and the people are enslaved to a tyrant named King Zool. The Marvels find a society of escaped slaves have carved out and underground civilization and are creating volcanic eruptions to destroy their cruel masters. To save everyone else still above ground, the Marvels storm Zool's palace and force him to abdicate. The tablet found in the present was a declaration honoring the saviors of Tallantis.

In the present, the archeologist is in awe at how much history has twisted the story of Atlantis. Modern Australia is where the kingdom was located, its name was wrong, and it was a primitive dictatorship instead of a utopia with technology unknown to modern man.
