Synopsis for Capt. Marvel, Jr.: "Capt. Marvel, Jr. Battles the Baldness Plague!

Homer is a bald man who enjoys his collection of fancy wigs that he sells in his wig and toupee store. Finding that only the non-purchasing Freddy Freeman showing up to give him a daily paper, Homer decides to unleash a “hair blight” will make everyone go bald from a smudge pot on his roof and even Freddy Freeman wakes up to his head is as bald as a novice’s knees. Calling CAPTAIN MARVEL, he finds Captain Marvel, Junior is naturally not affected, but tons of people are trying to storm down the large line to Homer the Wig Maker’s Wigs and Toupees even though he’s tripled his prices. Junior finds that they’ve quickly sold out of all of them and is left with a discarded redheaded wig to “take home to Freddy.” In this new society of bald people, purse-snatcher “Lightfinger” Louie is now snatching wigs due to their high resale value lately and Junior stops two women who don’t realize they’re fighting over a masculine wig. Junior starts to think that Homer might have been involved with this and Freddy takes his red wig to Homer to hope he can dye it black for him. While in his lab, Freddy finds the formula for the Hair Blight, only for Homer to notice he’s done so and punches him hard in his bald head, knocking him out. When Freddy finds himself bound and gagged, he is able to slip his gag due to the smoothness of his bald head and calls CAPTAIN MARVEL to become the World’s Mightiest Boy once more. After one punch to the jaw, Homer gives up and they work together to spread a reversing Hair Blight Antidote that will restore everyone’s hair to normal in a month. After such time passes, Freddy Freeman throws his gaudy red wig in the trash and everyone is happy again.
