The Marvel Family #70 is an issue of the series The Marvel Family (Volume 1) with a cover date of April, 1952.
Synopsis for The Marvel Family: "The Marvel Family Battles the Crusade of Evil"
Merlin sends a suit of armor to the Future to bring a descendant of King Arthur back. It brings back Sterling Morris when the sun sets. The Marvel Family travel back via the Rock of Eternity. They find King Arthur has gone on crusade and left Queen "Guenivere" in charge of his Kingdom, but she has been captured by the Black Wizard. He attacks with his warriors, but the Marvels and Morris defeat them, however he uses his magic to disappear. He sends a flying dragon against them with a thousand lives, but after the Marvels kill it 67 times Morris has his horse given wings by Merlin and slays the Dragon enough times to kill it with an enchanted sword. The Marvels go to the Black Wizard's castle, but the Wizard threaten to kill Queen Guinevere, who is chained to a wall in his dungeon, if they come closer. The Marvels turn back and swim across the moat. But they are knocked out by a sword blow from a guard waiting in the shadows. When the Kids come to they are chained and gagged. The Black Wizard sends magic flame from his wand to heat up their chains. However Billy burns of his gag on Freddy's chains and transforms. He removes the gags of the other two who transform. However, as Captain Marvel tries to strike the Black Wizard, he becomes a wraith. The Marvels free the Queen and fly back. They fly to the Crusades, help Arthur win a battle, and take him and his Knights back. The Wizard conjures up a thousand black Knights, but despite being outnumbered 20-1 Arthur attacks them, telling the Marvels not to help. They defeat the Wizard's army, he makes a Giant Iron Knight appear to squash Camelot, but the Marvels dig a pit it falls into. King Sterling captures the Wizard with his magic sword, but sentences him to wear a suit of armor for the rest of his life, as he found it uncomfortable. After that Morris and the Marvels return to their time.

Trivia
- King Arthur is not known for having joined the Crusades, since his Knights already found the Holy Grail, though none were allowed to keep it and left it on the island of Sarras to restore the faith and then to Heaven.
- Despite the cover, the Marvel Family don't ride on horses with lances into a jousting battle, instead mostly punching people off of their horses.
