- In the Pre-Flashpoint continuity, the GodWorld, which later became Urgrund in the modern continuity, was both the "First World" and the "Second World".[3]
- This issue features a first visual appearance of the Greater Omniverse in the Post-Flashpoint continuity.
Trivia
- The Chronicler originally appeared in Dark Nights: Death Metal Rise of the New God #1 where he also resurrected Metron years after his death at the hands of Doctor Manhattan. His appearance heralds the possible death of the Multiverse.[4]
- Chronicles saying that "he's grown sentimental" is a reference to the events of Dark Nights: Death Metal Rise of the New God #1 where he became fond of the DC Multiverse after reading its stories and discovering its characters.
- Galactica the "Third World" was originally introduced in the Post-Flashpoint continuity in Green Lanterns #23.
