The Phantom Stranger (Volume 2) #11 is an issue of the series The Phantom Stranger (Volume 2) with a cover date of February, 1971.
Synopsis for "Walk Not in the Desert's Sun..."
A strange triangle shape in the sky has appeared over various cities of the world. People are suddenly snapping into violent and anti-social behavior before vanishing without a trace. When the Phantom Stranger hears of a glowing pyramid that has appeared in the Sudan, the Stranger decides to fly there in a plane.
There, he meets Lynn Berg who is flying there as well and she agrees to tag along with the Phantom Stranger. When they arrive in the Sudan, they are witness to a bombing in which the intended target is killed. Lynn is suddenly consumed by rage and attacks and murders the attackers before being transported away like the others.
Traveling to the glowing pyramid, the Phantom Stranger learns that the leader of this operation is Tannarak, who survived his last encounter with the Stranger when he was saved by the "Gods of Hate", who sought to use him as a tool to gather followers. After a battle against Tannarak, the Stranger manages to escape with Lynn where they find a strange computer control room inside the pyramid. There, fighting off the forces of the "Gods of Hate", they ultimately set the self destruct system. The Stranger and Lynn manage to escape, however everyone else seemingly perishes when the pyramid explodes.
