Y'know -- I hate to be the one to break it to you, but nobody, and I mean nobody likes Nazis, fella! Except maybe other Nazis, and even then I'm not so sure!
The Power of Shazam! #6 is an issue of the series The Power of Shazam! (Volume 1) with a cover date of August, 1995.
Synopsis for "The Return of Captain Nazi!"
Billy Batson changes back into kid form at a baseball game where his friend, Freddy Freeman, pitcher for the Binder Marvels, is up to bat! He knocks it into right field and is able to slide in for an inside-the-park home run (since Billy is supposed to be takng down highlights to broadcast on WHIZ Radio later.) He talks softly with his grandfather, Jacob Freeman, who reveals that he's the only family Freddy has and, though he didn't win the Spelling Bee, he's confident he'll take the Binder Marvels to the State Finals! Jacob notes that Freddy is good at many things, including fishing.
Back at Krieger's lab, Captain Nazi refuses to take orders from a woman (even his own grand-niece) and arrogantly declares he'll rob as many banks as his brother, Dr. Wolf Krieger, requires. Mme. Libertine is dismissive of his outdated attitudes (but not his Nazism) and Dr. Wolf says that they still don't know if the suspended animation was bad for him or not. Captain Nazi is confident that he is just as powerful as Hitler believed he was…
Billy soon reports in the game's highlights at Costanza Field with the Binder Marvels defeated the Fawcett-Tech Trojans 9-1 with a three-hitter from Freddy. Jacob offers he go out with him and the team for root beer floats at the nearby diner, which Billy is game for. Billy takes a moment to think about using his powers to become good at sports and popular, but reasons that Shazam definitely wouldn't let him get away with such frivolity. Billy is soon welcomed by the rest of the team to eat with them s a woman asks about his coworker, Fritz the Night Owl, and Jacob offers he go fishing with them. After eating, Billy finds he needs to go by the bank before it closes and declines politely.
Meanwhile, “Muscles” McGinnis finds he's got a meeting with the same blonde woman who ordered the Wayne-Tech bombing and a mirror behind her reveals her identity as Lady Blaze in human form. She reveals to him that Sinclair Batson intends to set up a casino in Fawcett City, which would put a crimp in Muscles' supposed illegal gambling operations. She suggests he murder Sinclair and offers him power beyond his wildest dreams if he can. Muscles replies he's got a big imagination. Elsewhere, Sinclair Batson is trying to sell Chippewa tribesmen the opportunity to help build a huge (and garish) casino on the former Fawcett City Fairgrounds which were abandoned by Dr. Sivana some time ago. Mr. Shalert and the Mayor are unsure about it, though one of Sinclair's backers, Nicholas Elm, offers that the tribe can pledge a portion of the profits up to $100,000,000, which Sinclair notes the City can use as they see fit. Madame Mayor is dismissive, since she doesn't like gambling, but Sinclair reminds her it's actually up to City Council and she doesn't actually have a say in matters…
Back at First Fawcett Savings and Loan, Billy is able to call SHAZAM while concentrating on a certain body-type to become “Eben Batson,” a slightly-different Captain Marvel (he has a beard.) He is alack to find the teller he's used to flirting cautiously with is off on her honeymoon, but the elderly woman at the counter loves hearing Billy (and Fritz the Night Owl) on the radio. Suddenly, Captain Nazi kicks through a door and threatens to shoot random people with a Luger if he doesn't get money now. Billy worries about ruining his secondary secret identity and manages to shove Capt. Nazi enough that he doesn't shoot one of the inept bank guards, which gets him thrown into a table. Capt. Nazi angrily blocks the exit by lifting a marble counter with his gloved hands, decries that Auschwitz was invented and a banker who lost someone to the Nazi death camps hides a dye packet in a bag of money he hands to the belligerent burglar. He starts to go for the vaults and “Eben” punches him in the back, knocking him in and closing the vault shut, then “helps” to push the counter back in place. Sinclair enters from upstairs and is shocked to hear Eben Batson saved the bank, since he knows his father is a bedridden old man. “Eben” rounds a few corners to hope to turn back into Billy (and then Captain Marvel,) while Capt. Nazi punches the vault back open and police soon surround the building. Sinclair ends up shoving the Mayor towards Capt. Nazi (to protect himself) and Capt. Nazi is dismissive that a woman of color is Mayor and Captain Marvel suddenly shoots out of the ground, grabbing Capt. Nazi and flying him outside as the “Aryan” Aggressor finds that all the money is covered in red dye and useless. Capt. Nazi punches the World's Mightiest Mortal into a buoy over a nearby bay and hangs there a moment so he can lure Capt. Nazi closer to bludgeon with the buoy himself. Capt. Nazi tries to use a ship's anchor to attack Captain Marvel and gets punched across the lake.
Nearby, Freddy Freeman and his grandfather find their boat overturned and Freddy finds Capt. Nazi, who cares little that they saved him from drowning, throwing Grandpa Freeman violently to his death and throws Freddy by the leg, snapping his ankle hard. Captain Marvel has to adjust his speed to keep from further injuring Freddy. He manages to lay Freddy carefully down, finding his leg and spine are horribly injured and Jacob is half-drowned himself. He flies them quickly and soon, Billy and Mary are waiting to hear news. A nurse tells him that Freddy has a serious spinal injury, but is stable… but Jacob is in a coma...
