Synopsis for "Pravda"
Agents Blake and Chivers examine Max's torn cell. Blake questions and learns from Chivers that he lied to Max about his girlfriend Cindy having a affair in order to agitate and "kick-start" his powers.
Max runs to a service station and calls his barkeeper Dolores, wanting to know if Cindy is cheating on him. He is found by Chivers and his men, who beckons him to come back. Instead, Max grabs Chivers and throws him away before running off at superhuman speed.
Chivers returns to Blake and interrogate Mike Hinks in an attempt to learn how he can reprogram Max. Hinks refuses to answer until being threatened to be lock away for treason. He tells them that he and another person, who was fired for being a pedophile, are the only people who know of another top secret project that created another superhuman besides Max.
In Talibstan, the Spirit of Lenin awakens his female counterpart Pravda and informs her of what he knows since their slumber in the 1950s and the current situation in Talibstan. Both the Spirit and Pravda share the same views that America is still their imperialist enemy and must continue their war against it. As American fighter jets primed on their location, Pravda shows her powers of bending reality by sending the jets back to the year 1953, the date of Joseph Stalin's death.
Blake, Chivers, and Hinks meet the second man who knew of the second superhuman, Mr. West, an elderly man diagnosed with cancer and resigned to an oxygen tank. West refuses to reveal and activate the "second hero" as some of the people on the project were against him being developed, fearing that he could start a war in the United States. When Hinks tries to convince him to reveal the second superhuman, West demands to have diplomatic immunity from molesting children in exchange. West's demands are rejected when Blake starts to cut off his oxygen, thus forcing West to cooperate.
At the White House, the President argues with his Russian counterpart, President Tolstoy, on the phone over the Russian dolls. He fails to gain cooperation from Tolstoy, who considers that his government has no responsibility over the dolls as they were created under the Stalinist regime. The President resumes his conversation with Agent Blake in regard to the second superhuman created in the 1960s. Blake needs his authorization.
Max returns to his home and reunites with Cindy, and wanting to know if she is sleeping with another man.
Blake, Chivers and Hinks find the location of the second superhuman in a bunker. Hinks then prepares to awake the being from his suspended animation.
