Synopsis for "Unamerican Activities"
Agents Blake, Chivers, and Mike Hinks awaken the second superhuman who identifies himself as Senator Joe. He believes himself to be his namesake and models himself after the anti-communist Joseph McCarthy, as pointed out by Hinks. Joe, noticing Hinks' liberal remarks, then immediately swats him and demands to know where his "political sympathies" lie. Chivers holds Joe at gunpoint, and Joe responds by dismembering his right arm with his heat vision. Fortunately, Joe forgives his actions and cauterizes Chivers' arm to prevent it from further bleeding. After doing this, Joe wants to know what is going on and if he has been brainwashed.
Max learns the truth from Cindy that the man that Chester supposedly cheated on her with is actually her brother. When she questions Max as to his whereabouts, he begins to tell her.
At Gulag 15/10, Prof. Vladimir Korovin reveals his previous life. In the 1950s, he was the director of The Programme and overseer of the Russian dolls; all preserved for a retaliatory strike in a suppose war against America. Korovin ensures his creations' secrecy and in doing so kills anyone who was involved with The Programme. This leaves him as the only man to know about it. However, during a party among high-ranking officials he becomes drunk and begins to joke about dictators who are not native to the nations they rule. In the process, he also carelessly reveals that Stalin comes from Georgia. This earns him his imprisonment in Gulag 15/10.
As Korovin stands in a bathroom, he hears someone coming, and expects it to be the Zek who's come to rape him. Instead, he is stopped by Roman Kelski, who's been sent by Russian President Tolstoy, who wants him to escape from his imprisonment and needs his help in finding the other dolls in order to stop the others in Talibstan.
In Washington, the President is pressured by his aides into carrying out a nuclear strike in Talibstan, though he insists on waiting on their "American Hero".
Max is confronted by Senator Joe, who is looking for him and wants to talk.
