Synopsis for "Family Business"

Honor is with her family while thinking back on the time she has spent in Gotham City (and why she cannot go back). Eight years previously, in Los Angeles, Talia al Ghul was entertaining guests who wanted to join her new team, though Talia immediately saw through her father's ploy. She triggers Honor who creates her Zone of Silence and takes out each of the men. Talia then tasks Honor with going to Gotham, laying low and awaiting further order.

Honor makes her way to Gotham where Talia guides her to the destination. Along the way Honor questions Talia's motivations, especially regarding the Batman. Talia wants the Silencer to monitor the Batman but in a car lot nearby Hope spots a mugging which she jumps down to prevent.

With her Zone of Silence she takes each of the muggers down, but the family still looked scared and she realised, just too late, that the Batman was swooping down to get her. They fight silently through Gotham until Batman corners Hope with his Batmobile though they are both interrupted by Reaper - a body-modified killborg, sent by Ra's to prevent Talia's work.

The fight is gruelling and both Batman and Honor are knocked around and badly damaged. As the Reaper stands over Batman, ready to finish him, he reaches for the sword over his shoulder only to find it missing. Behind him is Honor and with one fell swoop she decapitates the Reaper and leaves Batman to recover from his wounds, knowing he will give chase as soon as he can.

Honor escapes back to pedestrian life, she returns to her rented room and speaks to the salesman about how she does not need it any longer and the salesman, Blake gives her his card. Honor returns to Talia who explains that she wanted the Batman saved as they were family, and Talia wanted to be the one to kill him.

In the present day, Honor ponders over how much of Talia's stance on family and protection she still has internalised. Overall, Honor prepares herself for the day Talia tries to fight back and claim her Silencer back.
