Quote1 Welcome to The Truth.
Some here value anonymity. Some don't care. Some have powers, some don't.
But all value the truth and believe in holding those in power accountable for their actions.
Quote2
Jay Nakamurasrc

The Truth is an international group of activists that works globally to combat injustices committed by those in power who are never held accountable for their actions.

History

The group is led by Gossamer (Jay Nakamura), a Gamorran refugee, and is made up of people of all kinds: with powers or not, anonymous or not. Those who are anonymous prefer to wear masks, but all hide their real names behind codenames.[1]

Some members of The Revolutionaries also joined The Truth.[2][1]

They are very present on social media, through which they run their news site also called The Truth, where they expose truths that mainstream media dare not report, hosted by Jay Nakamura, who is also a journalist.[3]

Jay formally offered Superman (Jon Kent) a job at The Truth,[1] who, after considering the possibility of doing good anonymously, given the weight of being one of the most recognizable people on the planet, accepted the invitation.[4]

The Truth has the financial support of people who believe in its actions, and Dick Grayson is its main investor.[5] Dick invited Lois Lane to be the face of The Truth, considering her experience would be useful to them. Lois was to give him an answer, but upon learning that her son was being threatened with lies by Gamorran President Henry Bendix, she accepted the invitation.[6]
