Synopsis for "The 7000 ft. Grave!"

A reluctant skydiver attempts to make his first jump as he is pushed out of an airplane. He pulls the ripcord as his eyeballs widen and his throat bursts into a scream. He lands safely on earth as his partners run to assist him. They quickly discover that the man is dead, he had unexpectedly died of fright.

Synopsis for "The Face in the Ball!"

A collector named John Benson encounters a crystal ball that was supposedly once owned by a warlock. Benson peers into the crystal and notices the shape of a face beginning to take form. He sees the face momentarily but it soon fades. He then peers into the crystal ball once more and sees an image of his business partners who seem to be altering his business records embezzling from the company. He approaches one of them and attacks him but falls over a ledge injuring himself. Benson later learns that the images had been false and there is no evidence of anyone tampering with his business records. He realizes that the crystal ball is evil and attempts to destroy it. The Crystal explodes and disfigures Bensons face. He soon realizes that the face he first saw in the crystal ball was his own. It had unexpectedly foretold his fate.

Synopsis for "Why was Everyone Afraid of Hester?"

An old witch named Hester spends her time caring for her many pet birds. She befriends a boy named Cedric whose uncle Uriah is bent on buying Hesters property. Hester refuses to sell but she spends a lot of time with Cedric and seems to enjoy his company. Uriah attempts to hire a thug to kill Hester but he is chased away by Hesters many birds who act as her protector. Uriah then learns that his nephew spends time with Hester and she has even given him a pet cat. He urges Cedric to inviter her to a special picnic and lures Hester to a dark cave where he intends to get rid of her. Hester accepts the invitation and enters the cave where it looks like Uriah is about to push her into a deep dark chasm but Hester emerges from the cave alive and well. She walks out of the cave carrying a new bird who has an injured leg just like the boys uncle Uriah.
