Synopsis for "Grave of Glass"
A man named Arnold murders his invalid wife so he can marry his young mistress Pamela, He buries the dead body in a glass greenhouse underneath the vegetable garden that his wife had grown. His mistress soon finds out about the murder and she is distraught. She can’t stand the sight of Arnold and feels that he has gone mad. Arnold locks up Pamela in the greenhouse and holds her captive. He then gathers vegetables from his murdered wife's garden to cook dinner. As he eats he begins to choke and collapses dead. Arnold was unaware that is former wife had been growing poisonous mushrooms for use in an agricultural study at the local university.

Synopsis for "Maniac at Large"
A convict named Judd Donner escapes from prison. The tabloids have nicknamed him “The Choker” and they announce that there is a $5000 reward for his capture. A private detective named Gibbs investigates the escape with hopes of recovering the reward himself. He finds out that Donner has 2 strange sisters and that he might be hiding out at their residence. He tracks down one of the Donner sisters and follows her to the residence. He sneaks into the house and discovers Judd Donner hiding in the basement. Donner apprehends Gibbs and holds him down while his sisters choke him to death. They take pleasure in choking the life out of him. It is then revealed that the sisters are the real killers and that Judd Donner only held the victims down so that his sisters could practice their murderous ways.

Synopsis for "Newton Northrup's New Brain"
A dominating rich woman named Nora Worley seeks an engagement with a lowly bookkeeper named Newton Northrup. Worley feels that she is becoming too old and seeks marriage. Her rich father warns her that Northrup will never amount to much but his daughter states that she can change him into an ambitious business owner. The couple soon marries and Nora does everything she can to turn her husband into a business success. Despite all of her efforts, Northrup proves that he is no businessman. He fails at everything that he attempts. Nora soon becomes disgusted by her husband and frequently mocks him in front of friends. One day her Father reads an article about a doctor that can perform brain transplants. He is seeking a volunteer and Nora persuades her husband to obtain the operation. The dead brain donor looks like he might be ambitious and Nora thinks she is making a good move. The operation is a success and Northrup recovers at home. It is then announced on television that the brain donor was an escaped homicidal maniac from the state asylum. Northrup suddenly attacks Nora but she is rescued in time by authorities who have been made aware of the brain transplant. Nora escapes harm but she soon goes mad. The scene closes with her father looking over her and consulting the brain doctor about a brain transplant for her.
