Synopsis for "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Morgue"
Millionaire JP Mullins finds himself dying from a failing heart. He only has about two or three years to live unless he receives a heart transplant. He offers a young man named Tod Horton the sum of two million dollars if he agrees to the transplant but he declines since it would mean his certain death. The millionaire then enlists the help of an ambitious assistant named Carter Bellows to obtain the heart. Bellows poisons Horton, making it appear that he has died. He manages to secure his body before it is transported to the morgue. The body is then rushed to the Mullins estate where a team of doctors waits to perform the transplant operation. The transplant procedure is successful and Mullins resumes his normal routine. Six month later, Mullins is approached by the sinister figure of Tod Horton. The figure demands his heart back. Mullins and his assistant are terrified and the figure causes their car to crash. Horton then proceeds to cut open Mullin's chest to retrieve his own heart. It turns out that Horton is still alive due to the fact that he had received Mullin's failing heart. The police find the two dead bodies from the crash and are shocked to see what has happened to Mullins. Horton dies that same night as his failing heart gave out from the excitement and strain.

Synopsis for "A Night In A Madhouse"
A man named Emile Gompers finds himself married to a woman who experiences frequent dreams and unseen terrors. Gompers finds himself increasingly annoyed and intolerant of his wife's frequent anxieties. He goes out for a walk one night to take a break from his half mad wife. He walks through a thick fog when he suddenly finds himself face to face with a hideous creature that starts to chase him. Gompers attempts to outrun the creature but is unsuccessful. He finds himself running past his own street and sees his wife Dora calling to him from an open window. Gompers rushes up to his apartment and starts to surmise that the creature is probably after his mad wife. He had wished that his wife would die and maybe this strange creature was heeding his wish. Gompers rushes into the door of his apartment but the creature breaks in and begins to chase after Dora. Surprisingly Gompers rushes after it to rescue his wife. He engages the creature while giving his wife the opportunity to escape. The creature suddenly disappears. A short time later Gompers finds two policemen trying to wake him up. Gompers had apparently passed out when he saw his own reflection on a wall as he walked past a mirror madhouse attraction located in an amusement park. Gompers walks home feeling happy knowing that he really loves and cares for his wife. He becomes more tolerant of her fears and learns to ignore them.
