The Unnamed Ones are a group of demonic beings whom are brothers of the King of Tears and worshiped by both Wotan and Johnny Sorrow.
History
In 1945 during World War II, Wotan and Johnny Sorrow attempted to free the Unnamed Ones from the Subtle Reams with the use of the Spear of Destiny. Despite the slow progress, the ritual began but thanks to the timely intervention of Wildcat, Hourman and Doctor Fate, the demonic beings were once more trapped in the Subtle Realm, forcing them to wait 80 years before another opportunity to escape could arise.[1]
In 2025, Wotan and Sorrow formed a new iteration of the Injustice Society, stealing the Helmet of Fate from the modern incarnation of Doctor Fate to help power up a new device (alongside the Spear of Destiny and Ted Knight's technology) and allow them to escape.[1] Despite the Justice Society's efforts, they were freed.[2] However, having learned their names prior to his death when they first unleashed in 1945, Wildcat's spirit told the new Kid Eternity, who would relay it to Khalid Nassour upon recovering his helm. With their names known to him, the modern Doctor Fate destroyed them with a powerful spell.[3]
