After a training exercise with the Sunshine Kid and four Web agents, the Web receives a distress call from Rowdy, who has come into conflict with Templar's knights. Rowdy is captured by Templar, who has decided to raid a Web storehouse in order to provoke an apocalypse and thereby "draw out" the Grail. While the Web field team, consisting of Buster, Rad, Sunshine Kid, Big Daddy, and others, arrives too late to stop Templar, they do manage to rescue Rowdy. Rad is able to stop an earthquake-producing device with his armor, temporarily foiling Templar's plans.
