Synopsis for "Earthquest part 1: The Battle for the Grail!"
Templar, a deformed villain who is nearly invulnerable, is determined to find the legendary Holy Grail, which he believes to be an alien artifact capable of healing men -- including his condition -- and reversing any environmental disaster which might befall the Earth. After a training exercise with the Sunshine Kid and four Web agents, the Web receives a distress call from Rowdy, who has come into conflict with Templar's knights. Rowdy is captured by Templar, who has decided to raid a Web storehouse in order to provoke an apocalypse and thereby "draw out" the Grail. While the Web field team, consisting of Buster, Rad, Sunshine Kid, Big Daddy, and others, arrives too late to stop Templar, they do manage to rescue Rowdy. Rad is able to stop an earthquake-producing device with his armor, temporarily foiling Templar's plans.
