The plane of existence known as the Wild Realms is an ethereal dimension that is directly connected to The Red. Here, many champions of the Parliament of Limbs fight against each other in The Wild Games, a tournament which decides the animal species that will rule the Earth over the next ten thousand years.
History
The Wild Realms were somehow created at the beginning of Earth's history along with The Red and all the animal life. The first members of the Parliament of Limbs planned a fight competition, the Wild Games, in order to decide which material essence would have been added into the Well of Evolution that would allow that species to rule the planet for ten millennia.
In ancient times, Mammoth King and Princess Sabretooth were famous competitors of the Wild Games and earned a statue in the Wild Reams.[1]
In 2021, Lord Chondrakha, the God of Sharks, summoned his son, Nanaue/King Shark to the Wild Games, along with his friend Defacer, in order to fight in the tournament for the Oceanscape.[2] Amanda Waller was annoyed by the loss of King Shark, who was also a member of her Suicide Squad, and began searching for a way to enter the Wild Reams in order to recover her asset:[1] due to the magical origins of the Wild Realms, Waller was forced to assemble a supernatural-themed Task Force team, the "Limbo Legion", in order to force the Shark God into opening a portal to the Wild Realms.[3]
Meanwhile, the Wild Games had already begun in the Wild Realms: King Shark defeated the Walrus Lord at the Rocky Shores[1] but, later, lost against Prince Nematode in the Nemathelmintes Stage. The next day, he also fought against Princess Peregrine at the Aerie Stage, murdering her during their match and qualifying himself for the next round.[3]
