A callous man builds a machine which can transport locations from the future into the present, but unbeknownst to him, the room that he materializes and enters is part of a future prison's death chamber.

Synopsis for "Eternal Hour!"

Boys drive the village dwarf up the bell tower with their taunting. A kindly old villager leaves food out at night for the dwarf, but they hear a terrible scream that evening. When the people attempt to approach the tower, the dwarf appears and rains stones down upon them. Years pass, and the boys grow up and one of them resolves to challenge the dwarf in order to repair the clock which has been inoperable for years. They hear a ghastly scream and he fails to reappear. The other taunting boys, now men, resolve to punish the dwarf and rescue their fellow. They enter the tower, and they too, disappear into thin air. The villagers enter the tower in order to get to the bottom of the situation and what they discover startles them. The kindly old man sees that the nightly food he was leaving has been feeding a family of rats. There is cloth and a stain in the gears of the clock and the people realize the dwarf fell to his death years ago. They find the missing men, now appearing as the cruel boys they had been, cast into bronze figures at the base of the bell.

Synopsis for "The Perfect Surf OR How to Make Waves Without Really Trying"

A surfer becomes annoyed with another surfer always going on and on about the perfect wave, so he tells him about a witch in a secret cove in order get him out of the picture and he can make a play for his girl. The girl realizes that surfing at midnight is not a good idea, but she follows him because she loves him. Not only does the witch give her permission for him to surf at midnight in the cove, she allows him to use her special board. The surfer is so overjoyed with his perfect wave, that he doesn't notice his wannabe girlfriend trying to warn him that the wave is heading out to sea.
