Synopsis for "To Catch A Witch"
Professor Clive Britt heads home with his colleague Lawrence after a power outage at the university. They find Clive's wife, Verna, practicing witchcraft in the cellar. She hadn't been expecting Clive to come home so early, but she explains her actions by saying someone has put a hex on her. Clive thinks she's crazy. But later that evening, a huge bat crashes through the living room window, leading Clive to believe that the hex is real. Clive then drives to an old shack, hoping to enlist the help of a witch named Theel. However, before Clive knocks on the door, he sees Theel through the window. She appears to be putting a spell on a doll that looks like Verna. Convinced that Theel is responsible for his wife's troubles, Clive threatens the witch and breaks the spell. As he storms out, Theel says she was only trying to protect him. Meanwhile, Verna embraces Lawrence and says she no longer feels the power that had been defending the house. Now nothing can stop her from killing Clive—and when her husband is dead, she and Lawrence can finally be together. When Clive returns, Verna attempts to kill him with a poisonous gas. Suddenly, a black widow spider crawls out of Clive's pocket and kills Verna. The witch had secretly sent the spider with Clive when he left the shack.

But Carl knows all the house's secrets, so he sneaks in and takes them prisoner. For the next several weeks, Carl forces them to endure electroshock therapy, tranquilizers, and other torments. One day, Walter and Clarice find a secret passage in their cell. The passage leads to freedom, and they attempt to escape across a lake.
