The World's Greatest Superheroes was a syndicated newspaper comic strip featuring DC Comics characters, that ran Sunday and daily from April 9, 1978 to February 10, 1985.

Initially starring Superman, Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, and Black Lightning, it underwent two title changes, as the focus changed to feature Superman primarily. In October 1981, the title changed to The World's Greatest Superheroes Presents Superman, and on January 9, 1983, the Sunday strips became The Superman Sunday Special (the dailies retained the second title).

Writers included Martin Pasko, Paul Levitz, Gerry Conway, Paul Kupperberg, and Bob Rozakis, with artists including George Tuska, Vince Colletta, Jose Delbo, Bob Smith, Frank McLaughlin, and Sal Trapani.

The first story of the comic strip was reprinted by Tor Books in The World's Greatest Superheroes Present Superman (May, 1982).
