Thea Queen is the half-sister of Oliver Queen, the vigilante known as Speedy, and the girlfriend of Roy Harper in the Arrow television series. She is the daughter of the businesswoman Moira Queen and the archer Malcolm Merlyn; born due to the affair between the two. She was raised by Moira and Robert Queen in the Queen Mansion as an socialite, before learning about her true origins and began her training with Merlyn on Corto Maltese. She later becomes a member of Team Arrow as the archer Speedy, although she liked to be called Red Arrow at first. Even though an original creation to the Arrowverse, Thea adapts some elements from the DC Universe character Mia Dearden. Thea Queen was created by Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim, first appearing in the Arrow episode Pilot. (2012).
