History

Teddy Ruiz lives in Detroit, Michigan with his mother, Theresa.

When Richard Dragon and Benjamin Turner moved to Detroit in pursuit of the Circle of Six their apartment was across the hall from Theresa's and Teddy quickly befriended Richard when Richard stopped three men who were in the process of mugging Teddy. Shortly after Dragon was conscripted to work undercover for the FBI Teddy was shot in a drive by shooting when he went to confront one of his friends who had recently started working as a runner for some drug dealers. While Teddy's life hung in the balance Neron offered Dragon a deal to save Teddy's life which Dragon took.
