Colonel Thomas Weston is the CEO of the military arms manufacturer Amertek Industries, and an enemy of Steel.

Weston was the CEO of the military arms manufacturer of Amertek Industries and served as Irons' mentor at ArmerTek when he was designing the deadly BG-60 Assault Rifle. Weston hired Irons to build weaponry to fulfill US government weaponry contracts, but used Iron's designs for the BG-60 Assault Rifle without his consent to field test weapons against Kurdish rebels in Qurac, massacring innocent women and children. Fearful of the losses Weston would cause, Irons deleted the designs he had saved for an even more advanced BG-60 and faked his death to disappear, but was unable to stop Weston from selling weaponry.[1]

In addition, Weston sold the rifle design behind Irons' back for power and profit, getting many killed during his illegal arms dealing operations back in the US. Steel later learned AmerTek had been selling weapons to gangs under Weston's orders, who was revealed to have deep underworld connections, causing Weston to become a recurring enemy for Steel and his loved ones. At one point, Weston would uncovered Irons and Steel were one in the same and decided to orchestrate a series of assassination attempts on Steel's family using gang members using mutagenic serum called Tar and BG-60s.[2]

Weston's schemes were eventually stopped after Irons leaked proof of Weston's involvement in illegal arms dealing and attempted murders to the press, causing him to be arrested and halting his schemes for good.[3]
