    • Are you asking about the note in general or the specific wording? Unfortunately, I think *some* kind of note is necessary for casual readers looking to learn about a certain character and finding some weird reboot that does not look like what they remember from their childhood. :/ At the very least, I think that most users are savvy enough to understand the differences between a character in a comic book and a film and how sometimes one medium will make differences to a character's story but if the comics themselves feature radically different characters going by the same name, that is pretty confusing.

    • No, this was a weird note for characters that were entirely new. So they have no New Earth namesake. The PEboilerplate should stay, of course.
