• Let me begining by warning that if you haven't read Doomsday Clock #10 and don't want to be spoiled, it's better you stay away from this thread.

It's obviously too early to say (or do anything) since there're still two issues left with possibly important information and maybe status quo-altering developments.

But I'm still pondering about the latest issue's revelations and the existence of the "Metaverse". It was told the main universe -or "Metaverse"- is an universe whose history changes every time Superman's history is altered since 1938. And every time the Metaverse changes, the Multiverse also does.

I'm wondering if the implication is that every change spawns a different parallel timeline or it's always been the same universe all along.

If it's the former, I don't think it is much of an issue. Not bigger than usual.

If it's the latter... I can't imagine how the Wiki will react to it.

I'm certain that nobody wants to take the trouble to merge the pages of characters who have existed in all or most of different main Earths.

And can you imagine someone trying to explain how it is possible that Earth-Two Kal-L teamed up with Earth-One Kal-El and fought New Earth Kal-El even though they are the same person?

Or maybe I'm overthinking things, and the implication is Earth-Two and Earth-One branched off Metaverse (Prime Earth) when the date of Kal-El's landing got pushed forward?
