Time is the estranged father of the Endless and the ruler of the Realm of Time. He appears in the form of a child, a young, a middle-aged and an old man.
History
At some point, Time and Night had seven children; the Endless. Time later gave the Book of Souls to his son Destiny and gave the Saeculum to Dream.
When Dream visits Time in his realm, Time receives him with indifference, aware that he is only there because he wants something. He reminds Dream that the last time he lent him assistance, he allowed him the Saeculum, which Dream promptly lost. As Dream fades out of Time's realm, he asks if Time has seen Night recently. Time appears briefly startled by the question and disappears.[1]
