Jon Valor established the Time Pirates as a rogue group opposing the Time Masters.
History
Using the distress signal of Eve Baxter's ship which the Time Pirates captured, he lured the Legends to his ship and imprisoned them. When Mick Rory was insulted by Rip Hunter, he agreed to help the Time Pirates take over the Waverider. However, Martin Stein initiated a trap to open the doors of the Waverider which caused all the Time Pirates to be ejected out of the ship and into space.[1]
