The Timepoint is an intersection of reality that lies perpendicular to the more fluid Fourth Dimension.
History
The Timepoint lies outside the normal space-time continuum and is the base of operations for the so-called "Lord of Time", Epoch. Contrary to its name, time does not move inside the Timepoint. Epoch once trapped the powerless 853rd century android Hourman and his friends Snapper Carr and Bethany Lee inside the Timepoint.[1]
As a result of Wally West's battle with Savitar, any speedster who was subsequently lost in the Speed Force was deposited at Timepoint. As such his ally Gold Beetle took it over as a base and renamed it "Planet Flash". She pulled the victims of the Sanctuary disaster from the timeline just before the moment of their deaths and sheltered them outside the normal flow of time. Wally absorbed a vast quantity of Speed Force energy while fighting the Fraction and dematerialised, presumed dead. He re-emerged at Timepoint and Gold Beetle ferried him and the Sanctuary survivors back to the present to fight off the invaders.[2][3]
As the Speed Force and reality began to fall apart, Timepoint also crumbled. It was swarmed by temporal parasites known as the Uncoiled, who reduced it to ruins. Any speedster who ended up there from that point lost their powers and were consumed by the Uncoiled.[4]
