I always liked this Robin the best. He smiled and his jokes were good. You seemed... better around him. 
Tim Drake, better known as Red Robin, was an apprentice of Batman before becoming his own hero.
History
He joined the Titans shortly before The Joker's attack on Metropolis.
After Superman killed the Joker, Superboy struck out at his mentor for crossing that line, forcing Superman to fight back and almost kill Conner. In order to save their friend, all the Titans, including Tim, had to volunteer to go into the Phantom Zone until Superman decided they were no longer a threat to his new Regime.[1]
He eventually escaped alongside Starfire, Wonder Girl and Plastic Man, however after reuniting with Wayne, he was blasted with heat vision by General Zod, killing him.[2]
