Synopsis for "Titans: Beast World, Part 5"

As many heroes are gathered, the Titans, powerless, witness the fall of "Garro." Raven, filled with pain, seeks vengeance against the enemy responsible for this tragedy. She is aware of the involvement of someone wearing the Helmet of Chaos, suspecting this individual to be behind everything.

Meanwhile, the American government commemorates the victory over Beast Boy, thanks to the intervention of the "Bureau of Sovereignty." The president introduces a central figure behind this victory: Amanda Waller, the head of the Bureau, who has long operated from the shadows. During a conference, she praises the sacrifice of Chester Runk, a man who lost his son to Beast Boy and decided to fight the threat despite the risk. Waller explains that the war is not yet over, as those infected and transformed into monsters by Beast Boy still need to be eliminated. She announces an imminent global strike to eradicate these monsters.

At the Titans' base, the team—composed of Nightwing, Cyborg, Starfire, Raven, and Flash—learns that Waller is about to kill millions of people. Nightwing decides to act, while Raven battles with her own emotions, torn between the temptation to give in to her demonic side to avenge her friends. Ultimately, Raven chooses to remain in the background, controlling her destructive urges but ready to intervene if necessary.

The Titans storm the Bureau of Sovereignty’s base. Flash neutralizes the guards, while Nightwing and Cyborg seek to deactivate the drone strikes. Cyborg prepares to hack the military systems, even though this might make the Titans unpopular. Nightwing supports him, as they have only a few hours to prevent the catastrophe. They discover the Bureau’s hidden location, and Nightwing decides to confront Waller directly to persuade her to cancel the strikes.

Nightwing infiltrates the base, where he is confronted by Peacemaker, an agent of the Bureau. A confrontation breaks out, with Peacemaker opening fire. Nightwing dodges, and an intense fight ensues between the two. Ultimately, Nightwing gains the upper hand and neutralizes Peacemaker. He then faces Waller, accusing her of poisoning the public against the Titans to establish a regime of total control. However, Waller has no intention of backing down. She refuses to cancel the strikes, despite Nightwing’s efforts to convince her.

Cyborg finally succeeds in taking control of the drones, deactivating strikes across the globe. Flash informs Nightwing that Cyborg was successful, while Waller reacts angrily to this intervention. She admits that the Titans have allowed the monsters to survive, which, in her view, puts humanity in danger. She mocks Nightwing, stating that she should have killed Garfield Logan (Beast Boy) much sooner.

Raven, consumed by growing rage, eventually attacks Waller. She violently throws her against a wall with her powers. As she is about to give in to her impulses and release all her fury, she remembers Garfield and holds back. Raven explains that Garfield’s compassion is the only thing stopping her from killing Waller.

Suddenly, a mysterious force manifests. Raven realizes that her crystal, the gem on her forehead, has been empty for some time. Chaos takes over the scene, as a powerful entity, seemingly imprisoned by Raven, breaks free. This entity, filled with hatred toward Raven, unleashes its fury. Raven tries to understand what is happening, while the creature, who looks exactly like her, accuses her of keeping it captive and claims that she deserves nothing but its hatred.
