Synopsis for "Hawk and Dove"

Hank Hall and Dawn Granger aka Hawk and Dove are two mercenaries working the streets of Washington DC for money. They hope to retire and settle down together after one final job. However, those plans are dashed when Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth show up on their doorstep. Rachel immediately realizes that Dick and Dawn have had a past romance together and Hank is still not over it.

Meanwhile, a man named Dr. Adamson arrives at the home of the Nuclear Family and assigns them to capture Rachel. The Family attacks Dick Grayson's partner, Amy Rohrbach, and torture her for information on where to find him.

Dawn invites Dick to help them out on their last assignment but Dick strongly advises against it. Hank and Dawn go forward with their job only to find out that it was all a trap. Dick jumps in to save them, as Robin, and they realize that he has become a lot more brutal since leaving Batman.

The three return to the apartment only to find Rachel upset over a note that she found. She hands it to Hank and Dawn to reveal that Dick had planned on leaving Rachel with them while he headed back to Detroit. Dick tries to explain himself only to be interrupted by the Nuclear Family. The Family knocks Hank out and throws Dawn off of the building. They take Rachel away, leaving Dick with his two broken friends.
