Origins is an episode of season 1 of Titans. It premiered on October 26, 2018.
Synopsis for "Origins"
Kory arrives at Rachel's old house to find out that her mother is dead and Rachel on the run. After taking out two cops, and stealing a car, Kory follows Rachel's trail to Washington DC where she witnesses the Nuclear Family kidnapping her. Kory follows the Family to a local gas station. While the Mother, Sis, and Biff are inside the store, the Dad watches over Rachel when Kory attacks and burns his body. Kory takes Rachel and the two head off.
Kory takes Rachel to a sanctuary in Ohio where Rachel had apparently stayed as a baby. The nuns welcome her back with open arms and offer them both shelter. Kory shows Sister Ethel a key that she's been carrying around with her and the Sister says that it belongs to a locker at the local roller derby.
Dick Grayson leaves Washington DC with Dawn in a coma and Hank watching over her. Dick follows the Nuclear Family's trail to the local gas station. He watches the security footage of Kory rescuing Rachel. He takes down the license plate number of Kory's car and follows it.
While on the road, Dick thinks back to the day when Bruce Wayne first adopted him. His social worker informed him that his parents' death may not have been an accident. Determined to avenge them, Dick constantly runs away in the hopes of finding the man responsible and killing him. Finally, Bruce Wayne offers to show Dick how to use his anger to fight for justice.
In present time, while having lunch with Rachel at the roller derby, Kory finds the locker that the key opens and finds another key inside. Rachel befriends a boy named Garfield Logan at the pinball machines. Dick finally catches up to them and asks Rachel to leave with him. But his recent attempt to abandon her is still fresh in her mind. Her anger gets control over her and the group takes her back to the sanctuary for help.
While she rests, Kory steals Dicks car and drives off to a storage unit where she finds a small safe house inside with many papers and maps all connected to Rachel. Dick follows her and the two study the information together.
At the sanctuary, Sister Ethel drugs Rachel and places her in a special room. Rachel's evil self breaks free and destroys the sanctuary. Dick and Kory see the smoke in the distance and head back. Scared over what she has done, Rachel runs off into the woods.
