Synopsis for "The Price of Victory"

Faced with the Gordanian army, the Titans are unsure how to proceed, but they begin to battle the Gordanians. During this, Starfire begins to suspect that her brother, Ryand'r, has led the Tamaraneans astray. Soon, the Omega Men appear accusing the Titans of being the aggressors. Before the heroes can decide what to do, they are teleported aboard a Gordanian ship in orbit. There, Tempest is acting as a diplomat. He tells the Gordanians that the invasion is actually a entreaty to the Gordanians. He proposes that the Gordanians allow the Tamaranians to colonize part of the Gordanian home planet of Karna. With the Vegan System becoming more civilized, slavery, which the Gordanians are infamous for practicing, is falling out of favor. The Tamaranians have a stellar reputation. If the Gordanians ally with the Tamaranians their reputation will help rehabilitate the Gordanian reputation and help them find a place in the modern Vega System. The Gordanians are open to the concept but refuse to work with Ryand'r. To resolve this point, Starfire agrees, over the protests of Ryand'r, to return to her place as ruler of the Tamaranians. Thus, Tempest is successful in ending the war. Back on Earth, Jesse Chambers agrees to help Dick Grayson with finding a way to make Cyborg human again. He reveals his secret identity to Jesse. Grant Emerson quits the team and begins healing emotionally at the same reservation where Roy Harper grew up. With the war over and reassuming her role as the leader of the Tamaranians, Starfire leaves the team. She elects to stay with the Tamaraneans on Karna.
