Synopsis for "The Dissing"

Goth reaches out to Troia, but he screams in pain the second he touches her. Starfire, Jesse Quick and Argent come to the side of Troia and Goth decides to leave.

The women return to Titans Island where Starfire shows a picture which only shows herself although Goth should have been in the picture as well. Nightwing tells them that there were several murders throughout the country copying exact scenes from movies featuring Goth.

The next day, the Titans visit a horror convention where Goth also is scheduled to appear. When he actually does, the teenagers are going crazy while the Titans still try to figure out what Goth's plan might be. He throws his book into the crowd and wants everybody to sign with their name. Suddenly he starts an incantation and shortly after most of the teenagers as well as Starfire disappear in a white light. Jesse Quick gets the idea that everybody who signed his book are gone. She goes after Goth, but the man flees leaving only his book behind.

The Titans want to rescue Starfire and the teenagers, so they all sign the book as well. The plan works as the nine heroes are transported to Dis which is one of the many versions of hell. They are attacked by demon-like creatures, but with Jesse's plan involving Flash lending a portion of his super-speed to the others, they are able to find Goth. Starfire already found out that the kids only can return home when they are showing some feelings. This is not easy because Goth has them under his control. So Starfire makes it looks like she wants to actually kill Goth. The teenagers and the Titans show fear and all of them are transported back to Earth ...
