Synopsis for "Dark-Winged Queen, Part 1"
Doctor Hate (Dark Raven), disguised as Raven, is called to Hell by Trigon, who reveals that the real Raven is trapped in a gem and that he has sent the Necrostar to destroy Earth.
In the present, Cyborg and Beast Boy are watching the news as Melinda and Sargent Steel argue about whether the Titans are a Earth's greatest heroes or greatest threats. Sargent Steel believes that Beast Boy is a threat to humanity, after which Dark Raven uses her telekinesis to turn off the TV.
The Titans are then alerted to a tropical storm in Florida, where The Flash and Wonder Girl are seen rescuing people on the ground with Beast Boy looks for people trapped in buildings. Meanwhile, Tempest stops a fleet of ships from being knocked over by large waves.
Beast Boy reaches a house, trying to comfort a young boy who's been trapped by the storm when he's hit by a baseball bat. He calls for the Titans, stating he is under attack before realising the father of the boy is the one who hit him, exclaiming that Beast Boy is a freak who needs to get out of his house. Dark Raven defends him before Flash runs into the house, defusing the situation. Beast Boy offers to leave, not wanting to cause more trouble.
Trigon calls on Doctor Hate once again, asking why she is pretending to be Raven when she is free to destroy the Titans. She explains that the Titans have defeated various threats before, and by making them her friends, it will make her job easier. Trigon tells her she is destined to destroy worlds, scourge universes and become The Dark-Winged Queen.
