Titanus is a hulking, hammerhead shark-like humanoid and ally of Aquaman.
History
Titanus was originally an enforcer for a trio of magistrates who ruled a bubbled city inside The Blue on behalf of the evil god Dagon. Despite this the dimwitted Titanus was not truly evil himself, he simply did what he was told.[1] Titanus was among the forces that Dagon lead to attack Aquaman in Atlantis once he had found the displaced city.[2]
When Dagon began indiscriminately killing enemies and allies alike during his fight with Aquaman, Titanus turned on his master and joined Aquman's side. Aquaman was killed by Dagon, however he was revived by The Blue, which made him its avatar and gave him the power he needed to destroy Dagon. Arthur destroyed the Ocean Orb which Dagon had used to control The Blue, and told his surviving allies that it was time to go home.[3]
Aquaman's new connection to The Blue allowed him to lead them out of it and back to Earth 0. They emerged in the Atlantic Ocean where the Justice League were battling a possessed Superman. The team were able to quickly restrain the man of steel and banish the entity from him. Titanus and the others became known as Justice League Blue.[4]
