Baffler is an enemy of Batman who leaves baffling clues to his crimes.
History
Clayface once posed as him and faced Spoiler, taunting her throughout the fight. He eventually overpowered the silent hero and escaped. Later, when his false identity as Damian Wayne was discovered, he created clay clones of the Baffler and other villains he impersonated to fight against Batman's sidekicks, whom he had captured. Eventually, they managed to defeat Clayface and the clones.
