Todd Van III was the leader of the Squid Gang.
History
Instead of working hard like his father, Todd Van III founded the Squid Gang to get rich by robbing others. He organized a costumed charity fundraiser aboard his yacht and set to rob the proceeds with the Squids. Having another member pose as himself, Van planned to both rob the charity and make himself out to be a hero by appearing to stand up to the gang. He would then slip away with the loot afterwards. Blue Beetle put an end to the scheme when he busted the Squid Gang and sent them all to prison.[1]

Squid Suit: The Squid Suit had suckers on the arms that allowed the wearer to grip things. This could be used to grip another person or climb up a vertical wall. It also had a water lung to let the wearer breathe underwater.[1]
Notes
- This version of Todd Van III, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
