Tolifhar is a Gorilla General of Gorilla City and an ally of Wonder Woman.

Tolifhar was an old friend of Wonder Woman who rose to the rank of General in Gorilla City. When a series of mysterious and violent killings began in his territory, Tolifhar realised the perpetrator was some kind of alien that had landed near Gorilla City when Wonder Woman had smashed a meteor over Africa some time earlier. Tolifhar subsequently enlisted Diana's help in hunting down the beast with Diana wanting to capture the alien and Tolifhar demanding its death after it had killed some of his own.

When they found the creature, it launched a psychic attack from which Tolifhar and Diana learned it had been forcibly sent to a black hole by an alien species that the monster had slaughtered. While Diana distracted the alien, Tolifhar and his gorillas recovered the statis equipment from the alien shuttle to incapacitate the monster. Tolifhar was then persuaded by Diana to not kill the alien and instead send its shuttle along its preprogramed route out of respect for the aliens that it had previously killed.[1]
