Tomar-Re was a member of the Green Lantern Corps.

History

While patrolling his space sector, Tomar-Re was a good friend of the Kryptonians Jor-El and Zor-El. However, he failed to save Krypton or the House of El from their destruction, a failure that keeps tormenting Tomar-Re even decades later. He also grieved the death of Kon-El, one of the few remaining genetic Kryptonians.

Along with Kilowog, Tomar-Re acted as a representative of the Green Lantern Corps during a summit with the Justice League and the New Gods on New Genesis.
