Tomar-Re was a member of the Green Lantern Corps.

History

Tomar-Re was one of the most distinguished members of the Green Lantern Corps. Even though he commended Bruce Wayne's resolve demoting Sinestro from the Corps, Tomar criticized his rashness to appoint his successor without consulting the Guardians, as well as his disrespectful manner towards his masters.

Tomar-Re was part of a team sent by the Guardians to stop Earth's Green Lantern, who neglected his duties on other worlds of his space sector. Bruce fended off against his pursuers and escaped. After asking the Guardians for instructions, the Green Lanterns were told to return to their home worlds and cease their pursuit.
