- The Zambesi people long sought to protect themselves not just from their neighbours... but from nature itself. And so, the Zambesi people prayed and legend has it that their prayers were answered in the form of five totems. One for each great Zambesi tribe, allowing their bearers to wield the powers of nature. One totem for each of the elemental forces. Air, Earth, Water, Fire and Spirit. For nearly a thousand years, Zambesi existed in a rare state of harmony and prosperity. But as their civilization succumbed to the forces of colonialism, changing faith and war, the totems were lost and forgotten.
The Totems of Zambesi are six ancient elemental items from the African country Zambesi, capable of defeating the time demon demon Mallus.
History
In ancient times, the Gods gifted the six mystical totems to the six tribes of Zambesi in order to help them survive against enemy threats. They became the totems of Air, Earth, Water, Fire, and Spirit.[1] A sixth totem representing Death was given to one of the tribes, but the totem's power eventually drove them insane. The Spirit and Air Totems were inherited by the descendants of the Jiwe and Tarazi families respectively.[2]
