The Toymaker is an enemy to Batman and the former C.E.O. of Krank Co., a toy company that produced incredibly futuristic toys. However, the toys were soon deemed to be too dangerous, as they were responsible for many severe accidents. When Bruce Wayne led a campaign that eventually forced Krank Co. to close down, Cosmo Krank adopted the identity of the Toymaker, using weaponized toys in his attempts to get revenge on Wayne. Toymaker was created by Steven Melching and Anthony Chun, first appearing in the Batman episode Cash for Toys. (2006)
