Trapper was the leader of a space gang of thugs who kidnapped Virgo and sold him to a gladiatorial prison in the gaming dens of Y'Gaal.
History
When Hal Jordan rescued Virgo, Trapper tried to capture Hal for the bounty on his head; instead, Hal took Trapper prisoner.[1] Hal placed a prison restraint bracelet on Trapper and himself that he could activate and inject a paralytic into Trapper's system. In the event of Hal's death, the bracelet would automatically deliver a lethal dose ensuring Trapper wouldn't attempt to take Hal's life.[2] Hal later transferred the bracelet to Virgo.[3] Eventually, Trapper developed a grudging respect for Hal. He and Virgo parted when Hal went to investigate the disappearance of the Green Lantern Corps.[4]
