Synopsis for "World's Finest, Part 4"

This story is reprinted from Wonder Woman (Volume 6) #6.

Jon and Damian have struggled to have young Lizzie get some much-needed sleep. They've tried everything, even telling stories of their adventures as children, but Lizzie always wakes up, not wanting to spend the rest of the night on her bed. Damian jokingly suggests taking Lizzie outside and Lizzie says she wants to go the Moon, but the boys don't take her seriously. The boys argue with each other, again, on how to look after Lizzie, who shouts that she really wants to go the Moon, and the boys have no choice but grant her wish.

Unfortunately, even a trip to the Moon isn't enough to have Lizzie fall asleep, and when the boys return to Wayne Manor, they fall asleep before she does. Even so, Lizzie decides to keep her older brothers company and joins them on the couch.

Synopsis for "World's Finest, Part 5"

This story is reprinted from Wonder Woman (Volume 6) #8.

Jon, the Superman, has returned from another world-saving mission to the Fortress of Solitude, only to find Damian, the Robin, sitting on a couch and playing a video game. Damian says that he is looking after Lizzie, who is doing her homework, but Jon notices that Lizzie is nowhere to be seen and expands his field of vision to the entire Fortress, only to find that the Time Sphere is gone, as well. Damian explains that he let Lizzie use the Time Sphere to travel to the distant past so she could make a report about the samurai for her social studies class. Jon is displeased by Damian's decision and worried about the potential changes to the timeline caused by Lizzie's actions.

Lizzie has indeed traveled to the past, to ancient Japan, where she introduced herself to a group of samurai as the Wonder Girl and entertains them with stories about her family, Superman and Batman, while she partakes in battles that change the course of history. The changes are brief, however, and when Lizzie returns to the present, the timeline quickly corrects itself and Jon only hopes that she gets an A in her report.

Synopsis for "World's Finest, Part 6"

This story is reprinted from Wonder Woman (Volume 6) #9.

Trinity has a little problem. She and her friends were fighting Circe, until she cast a spell that turn Trinity's friends, Jon and Damian, into dogs. Although Circe was defeated, Jon and Damian haven't returned to normal, so Trinity asks Zatanna if there is anything she can do to help them. Zatanna tells Trinity that magic is based on belief and, in theory, Trinity could reverse the spell's effects by reminding Jon and Damian on who they are.

Trinity attempts to make her brothers act like superheroes or replicate their witty banter, but these attempts fail. A month passes and Trinity has no clue on how to bring back her brothers to normal. She takes them to the shores of Themyscira, where she Trinity vents her frustrations on her inability to save her brothers. On daybreak, however, she finds that Circe's spell has been broken and her brothers are normal again, but with no memories of their time as dogs.

Synopsis for "World's Finest, Part 7"

This story is reprinted from Wonder Woman (Volume 6) #10.

At the courtyard of Wayne Manor, young Lizzie tries to fly her kite, but her attempts continuously fail, and her brothers, Jon and Damian, try to help her different ways. Jon uses his super-breath to lift Lizzie's kite deep into the sky, but it flies out of Lizzie's reach. As Jon tries to get it back, Damian tells Lizzie about the myth of Sisyphus, a tale about the inevitability of death and failure.

When those methods don't work, Jon tries to lift Lizzie's kite all by himself, but ends up dragging Lizzie into the sky. Damian tries to throw Lizzie's kite like a batarang but it doesn't work, so he suggests an unorthodox method to help Lizzie. To his own chagrin, Jon reluctantly breaks Kite-Man out of prison to help Lizzie with her kite, much to Damian's satisfaction.

Synopsis for "World's Finest, Part 8"

This story is reprinted from Wonder Woman (Volume 6) #11.

Jon and Damian have taken Lizzie to see a concert from her favorite singer, Black Canary. Damain was able to acquire good seats because his mother knew Dinah's manager and had even killed people on his behalf. Damian is initially not interested in listening to the concert and says he would rather be out fighting criminals, but once he starts listening to the music, he takes a liking to it and even cheers for Black Canary, who invites him onto the stage.

A month later, the young heroes are fighting the tyrant Mongul, until Damian and Jon start talking about Black Canary's music and their conversation is interrupted by Mongul, who also happens to be a fan of music and, much to Jon's confusion, joins Damian and Lizzie in talking about their musical interests.

Synopsis for "World's Finest, Part 9"

This story is reprinted from Wonder Woman (Volume 6) #12.

The young heroes of Earth face their toughest challenge yet: the Mongul of Infinite Earths has arisen and, with each day, his powers grow. If left unchecked, Mongul will cause untold devastation throughout the universe, which is why Superman tells his friends that they should travel to Mongul's hideout, located in a distant galaxy, to stop him. Batman and Trinity warn Jon that, even with their fastest ship, it will take the heroes of Earth 73 days to reach their destination but Jon says they must undertake this journey to save their world.

Easier said than done, however, as the heroes continuously drive each other crazy over the course of their journey through space. They complain to each other about leaving the toilet seat up after using it, leaving dirty clothes all over the floor and even watching the same movie over and over and over again.

After 73 days of travel, the heroes finally reach Mongul's hideout and defeat him in a relatively short fight. Still, the heroes can't help but express disappointment that they undertook a long journey for such a short fight and, to make matter worse, it would take them 94 days to return home. Knowing that they wouldn't stand spending a lot of time with each other, the heroes decide to not return home just yet. Instead, they want to interrogate Mongul and figure out if he knows something about the next Crisis.
