Synopsis for "A Hope for Tomorrow"
As Alfred travels to New York by boat he wonders how can the present day be dependent on events going back to the time of Khufu. In Khufu's time Hath-set with Khufu's wife, Chay-ara, tell the pharaoh that Nabu has informed him that the unrest of the populous is due to the powers of the gods Ra, Toth, and Ma'at (Sun, Moon, and Truth) fading. Khufu has a vision of the future and is compelled to write it all down as the fading of his gods weakens his people. As insurrectionists attack his palace and his warriors make a heroic last stand Khufu puts his scroll in a container taking from the spacecraft his solders and throws it as hard as he can from the battle.
