Synopsis for "The Depths Beyond The Depths"
Justice Society International continues to fight for control of the rifts with their own Major Arcana while on the other world the tell of Kellel begins. Kellel would go among the people in the form of a humble scribe. But then Kellel died at the hands of The Monster for whom there were many theories about where he had come from (including one suggesting Kellel somehow created the being). Kellel arrives in the underworld but is not allowed in. The story is interrupted by the attack of Machinists who are confronted by Alfred's group.

Synopsis for "Not Much A Soldier"
The battle between the Major Arcana of the Justice Society International and villains for the Chaos Rifts continues. Even though Doctor Light is taken out Vandal Savage uses the fact that a Tarot reading has more then one interpretation to win the battle. Hawkman comments that only the big picture matters and flies away leaving Gangbuster to wonder if they lose sight of the small stuff that the big picture will be lost as well.
