Synopsis for "Better Together, Part One: Family Dinner"

Jon Kent sows seeds in a field before returning home to Smith Farm. Meanwhile, both Batman and Wonder Woman arrive in Hamilton County via their respective vehicles, Wonder Woman carrying a giant Wild Boar. As they prepare, Jon tells his mother about his day, with him having been given seeds for free by a mysterious stranger, before taking a shortcut home.

At that point the doorbell rings with Bruce and Diana waiting outside the door having changed. As Jon answers however, he uses his x-ray vision to peek through the door, and upon seeing Wonder Woman's boar and Bruce's Batsuit, panics and accidentally uses his own heat vision, ruining Bruce's shirt and knocking him flying. At this point, Clark Kent arrives back home, surprised to find both Bruce and Diana. Lois then reveals she has invited them to dinner, in the hope that they will better get to know each other following the change.

Bruce borrows one of Clark's shirts and they sit down. Clark thanks the others for coming and attempts to reminisce over the time in his timeline that Bruce wore a rainbow Batsuit in order to distract from Robin's injuries at the time, but Bruce admits that he is only here because Diana asked him to, and has no recollection of the events. As far as he is concerned, the Superman he knew is gone, and while Clark appears the same as his counterparts, him and his son are also the two most dangerous beings on the planet, and he has no idea who they are.

At this point, the men get up from the table to get desert, leaving Diana and Lois alone. Diana assures Lois that she has dealt with the loss of her Superman, but admits that she is feeling lost in the new world. Having successfully rekindled her friendship with Barbara Minerva, she now wants the Kent's help in being able to start over.

Jon is put to bed, and the three go outside to discuss their future. As they chat however, Clark hears a voice calling his name from the barn. They go inside, only to see his father and himself as a child on his old farm.
