Tula is the half-sister of Ocean-Master. As Aquagirl, she is a protege of his brother Aquaman.

History

As the illegitimate daughter of an Atlantean military leader, Tula was negelectd by her family. Despite this, when her brother, Orm Marius, became king he made her captain of The Drift. When Orm was replaced by his half-brother, Arthur Curry, he decided to bring her into his inner cicle as "Aquagirl."
