Emile Dorian src

Tygrus is a humanoid cat creature, artificially created by Doctor Emile Dorian. Tygrus possessed the agility. stealth and reflexes of a feline and the size and shape of a human.

When Dorian tried to transform Selina Kyle into the perfect partner for Tygrus, Batman showed up and tried to stop the mad scientist. Tygrus protected Dorian and he fought Batman for the right to claim Selina. In the end, Tygrus' superior intellect allowed him to discern between good and evil and he took Dorian down and delivered him to Batman. Tygrus tried to make Selina stay with him but she refused and he decided to live the rest of his days in solitude.[1]
Tygrus later resurfaced in Gotham when he learned that his "father" escaped Arkham. He was following his trail when he ran into Anthony Romulus who was also looking for Dorian, hoping he can reverse his lycanthropy. Upon finding Dorian, he persuaded Tygrus to help him against Batman, promising he would transform him into a human so he can be with Catwoman. The arrival of Man-Bat caused a fight to break out between Tygrus, Man-Bat and a transformed Romulus, causing the lab to explode. It is unknown if he survived.
