Typhon was a Lord of Chaos, enemy of Doctor Fate.

History

Typhon rose to power thanks to the weakening of Fate's human host, Kent Nelson, and the direct assistance of his follower Dr. Benjamin Stoner. Typhon used Stoner to steal the Helmet of Fate and Amulet of Anubis from Nelson, allowing Stoner to become Anti-Fate; an agent for the Lords of Chaos with the powers of Doctor Fate. Typhon and Stoner were eventually defeated by Eric and Linda Strauss, who became the second Doctor Fate.
